Neon LED

9 products

Neon LED is an LED strip enclosed in a silicone sleeve. Because the sleeve diffuses the light, the individual LEDs do not show — what comes out is a continuous line of light. It gives the look of glass neon without its fragility or its high voltage. Because it bends, it is used for lettering and logos, in curved recesses, along furniture edges and in decorative lines. The 12V version suits indoor work at reachable height; the 220V version suits facades and long runs.

Choosing Neon LED: A Flexible Line of Light and Where It Is Used

Neon LED is the flexible, low-voltage counterpart of classic glass neon: LEDs set inside a silicone body give an unbroken line of light with no visible dots. It does not break, does not get hot and bends into the form you want. Our collection holds 9 products.

Where Is It Used?

  • Lettering and logos: a brand name or slogan on signage and on interior walls.
  • Shop windows and façades: a continuous light that draws attention from a distance.
  • Furniture edges: slim-section models fit into narrow channels.

Voltage: 12V/24V or 220V?

Low-voltage (12V/24V) models need a separate power supply but offer greater flexibility and safety; they are preferred indoors and on surfaces within reach. Hose-type models that run directly on 220V are practical on long outdoor runs and need no separate transformer. You can choose a suitable power supply under LED Modules, Drivers and Transformers.

Bend Direction and Cutting

Not every neon LED bends in every direction: side-bend models suit horizontal turns, top-bend models suit up-and-down turns. Forcing it the wrong way breaks the internal structure. Cutting is done only at the marked points; in lettering and logo work the bend radius has to be planned from the start.

Light Colour

Among the measured tones in our catalogue are 6500K daylight and 3000K warm white; coloured models are offered either as a saturated single colour or as RGB changed by remote. In lettering and logo work a single saturated colour gives a longer-lasting result, while in architectural lines the white tones do.

Installation

Neon LED is fixed into an aluminium channel or onto a cut backing plate. A run left free sags in time and the line loses its shape. If it is to be used outdoors, both the run and the connection points must have a suitable IP rating; the most common fault starts not in the run itself but at the joint left unprotected.

Budget

Our 7 products with a published price run from 2.15 EUR to 484 EUR; the median is 58 EUR. At the lower end are runs by the metre and accessories, at the upper end ready-made assembled applications. On the remaining 2 products the quote option appears on the page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it differ from classic glass neon?

Glass neon runs on high voltage and is fragile; neon LED is low-voltage, unbreakable and uses far less energy.

Can I have my own lettering made?

Share the dimensions and the text through Live Support to get a price for the work.

How does it differ from LED strip?

On LED Strip the individual chips can be seen; in neon LED the silicone body diffuses the light and produces an unbroken line.
