Decorative LED Spotlights
A decorative LED spotlight is the class of spot where appearance decides as much as function. In a standard spot the aim is to direct light; in a decorative one, the shape and colour of the housing become part of the ceiling. Recessed models sit inside the ceiling and only their front face is visible; surface-mounted models are fixed onto the ceiling and the body stays in view. Both can be used in a plasterboard ceiling, while surface mounting is more practical on a concrete slab. The housing colour is chosen either to match the ceiling or to contrast with it deliberately: a black housing on a white ceiling turns the spot into a design element.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a spotlight and a track spotlight?
A spotlight is fixed at one point; a track spotlight slides along the track and can be re-aimed later.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
Near the shower zone you should choose models with a moisture-resistant IP rating.
Is the bulb included?
In integrated LED models the light source is built into the body. For models with lamp holders you can choose a suitable bulb from LED bulbs.
