Neon LED is an LED strip enclosed in a silicone sleeve. Because the sleeve diffuses the light, the individual LEDs do not show — what comes out is a continuous line of light. It gives the look of glass neon without its fragility or its high voltage. Because it bends, it is used for lettering and logos, in curved recesses, along furniture edges and in decorative lines. The 12V version suits indoor work at reachable height; the 220V version suits facades and long runs.
