Description
A 3-colour LED spot offers three colour temperatures in a single fixture: 3000K warm white, 4000K natural white and 6500K cool white. The colour is changed with a switch on the fixture or by the on-off sequence.
This helps when you cannot settle on a colour temperature, or when a room is used differently through the day: cool white while working, warm white in the evening.
Worth knowing: the change is stepped colour switching, not dimming. Light intensity stays the same in all three steps; only the colour changes.
The decision is made per room
Every spot in the same space should be set to the same step. Spots set to different steps leave yellowish and bluish patches on the ceiling, and the result is worse than either colour would be on its own. Because the switch ends up somewhere hard to reach after installation, setting the colour you want before mounting is a practical habit.
Which colour where
3000K warm white suits evening use and relaxing areas; 4000K neutral white suits everyday general use; 6500K cool white suits kitchens, bathrooms and work areas. If you are undecided, start at 4000K: of the three steps it has the widest range of use.

Usage & Warnings
Before installation
- Switch off the circuit at the fuse box before wiring.
- Check the cut-out diameter against the figure given for your chosen wattage. If the hole is cut too large the fixture will not hold.
- Allow at least 5–8 cm of clearance above the ceiling for the fixture and its driver.
- This product is for recessed installation and cannot be mounted directly onto concrete.
Driver placement
- Place the driver where it can ventilate and be reached later; never bury it in insulation material.
- The driver is the part most often replaced in a lighting run — plan access for it.
Use
- Wipe with a dry cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
- For indoor use. Areas exposed to direct water, such as above a shower or bath, require a fixture with the appropriate ingress protection rating.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is the colour changed?
In this range the colour changes with a small switch on the fixture or by the on-off sequence. No remote or app is needed. Since the switch becomes hard to reach after installation, it is practical to set your preferred colour beforehand.
Does the brightness change as well?
No. Light intensity is the same in all three steps; only the colour changes. If you want to dim the light, this product does not do that — you need a dimmable system.
Should every spot in a room be set the same?
Yes. Spots set to different colours leave yellowish and bluish patches on the ceiling. Colour switching should be considered for the whole space, not fixture by fixture.
