Description
The 45W Surface-Mounted Round LED Panel is made for rooms that need full lighting without a suspended ceiling. The fixture screws directly onto the existing ceiling and stands a few centimetres proud of it; concrete, plasterboard and timber ceilings all work.
With 4150 lumens it lights an 18–25 m² living room on its own. At 49 cm across it is wide enough to carry light into the corners of a room that size, and restrained enough not to dominate the ceiling.
Choosing a pattern
The pattern of the body decides how the fixture looks both lit and unlit. Plain versions disappear into a simple ceiling; textured versions leave a visible relief even when switched off. Light output does not change between patterns — the choice is purely visual.
Colour temperature
Two options: 4000K natural white and 6500K cool white. Natural white is the calmer choice for living rooms and bedrooms; cool white suits kitchens and work areas. The temperature is fixed at the point of order and cannot be changed later.

Usage & Warnings
Before installation
- Switch off the circuit at the fuse box before wiring. Turning off the wall switch is not enough.
- The fixture connects directly to 220–240V mains. If your installation has no earth conductor, consult a qualified electrician.
- On plasterboard ceilings do not screw straight into the board; use hollow-wall (toggle or spring) anchors.
Use and care
- Wipe the surface with a dry, soft cloth. Abrasive sponges, bleach and alcohol-based cleaners permanently dull the diffuser.
- Cut the power and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- For indoor use only. Do not install outdoors or anywhere exposed to direct moisture.
LED and driver
- The LED board is soldered in place and cannot be replaced individually like a bulb.
- This range is not dimmable. Wiring it to a dimmer circuit damages the driver and causes flicker.
- If the light flickers or fails, the part that normally needs replacing is the driver, not the LEDs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How large a room will a 45W panel light?
4150 lumens corresponds to 18–25 m² using the accepted 150–200 lumens per m² for living rooms. For kitchens and studies, where a higher level is wanted, 15–20 m² is the safer figure. If your ceiling is over 3 metres, take the lower end.
I have no suspended ceiling — can I still fit it?
Yes, that is exactly what this product is for. A surface-mounted fixture is not recessed into the ceiling; it is fixed onto its face. Use wall plugs in concrete and hollow-wall anchors in plasterboard. No cavity is required.
Should I choose 4000K or 6500K?
For living rooms, bedrooms and lounges choose 4000K: natural white light is easier on the eye and makes the room feel warmer. For kitchens, bathrooms, studies and offices choose 6500K; the crisper white brings out detail. The two are not combined in one fixture — you select at the point of order.
Does the pattern affect brightness?
No. Every pattern uses the same 45W LED board and the same 4150 lumen figure. The pattern only changes the surface texture of the diffuser; light distribution and brightness are identical once lit.
Can I replace the LEDs individually?
No. The LEDs are soldered to the board and do not come out like a bulb. That construction is chosen for heat dissipation and sealing; the LED board typically lasts well beyond 30,000 hours. When something does fail, the part replaced is the driver or the complete module.
