Description
One size down from the 43×43 model. At 33×33 cm it sits in proportion in bedrooms, kitchens and wider sections of hallway, and 2100 lumens gives a balanced level there.
When choosing a square fixture, think about alignment with the other things on the ceiling — air vents, smoke detectors, cornice lines. Unlike a circle, the edges of a square meet those lines visually.
Not enough on its own in a kitchen
This fixture covers the general lighting of a mid-sized kitchen, but the worktop needs a light of its own. Because the ceiling fixture sits behind you, your own shadow falls exactly where you are working. An LED strip under the wall units closes that gap and gives the kitchen two layers.
Position in a bedroom
Set the fixture at the centre of the room or towards the foot of the bed rather than directly over it. Looking straight up at a fixture while lying on your back is uncomfortable even at a balanced figure like 2100 lumens. Shifted towards the foot, it lights the room in the same way but stays out of your field of view.

Usage & Warnings
Before installation
- Switch off the circuit at the fuse box before wiring. Turning off the wall switch is not enough.
- The fixture connects directly to 220–240V mains. If your installation has no earth conductor, consult a qualified electrician.
- On plasterboard ceilings do not screw straight into the board; use hollow-wall (toggle or spring) anchors.
Use and care
- Wipe the surface with a dry, soft cloth. Abrasive sponges, bleach and alcohol-based cleaners permanently dull the diffuser.
- Cut the power and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- For indoor use only. Do not install outdoors or anywhere exposed to direct moisture.
LED and driver
- The LED board is soldered in place and cannot be replaced individually like a bulb.
- This range is not dimmable. Wiring it to a dimmer circuit damages the driver and causes flicker.
- If the light flickers or fails, the part that normally needs replacing is the driver, not the LEDs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it enough for a kitchen?
As general lighting in a mid-sized kitchen, yes. Worktops need their own light, though — a ceiling fixture alone casts a shadow where you work. Under-cabinet LED strip closes that gap.
How should I align a square fixture?
Set its edges parallel to the walls. On a square form even a small angular error is visible; on a round fixture the problem does not arise. Measure to two walls with a tape before fixing.
Can 33×33 and 43×43 be used in the same room?
Different sizes in one room look unbalanced. If you are lighting a large living room with two fixtures, we recommend both being the same size.
Will it be glaring in a bedroom?
2100 lumens is balanced for a bedroom of 10–14 m². Rather than placing it directly above the bed, move it to the centre of the room or towards the foot of the bed so you are not looking into it while lying down.
Will the diffuser yellow over time?
A good polycarbonate diffuser does not change colour indoors over long periods. Yellowing is seen mainly in fixtures exposed to direct sunlight and running hot; it is not expected in an indoor ceiling fixture.
