Description
The 24W panel is made for small rooms and circulation spaces. At 33 cm across it sits in proportion on hallway and bathroom ceilings, and 2300 lumens is more than sufficient there.
In circulation spaces what matters is how quickly a fixture comes on. LED beats both incandescent and fluorescent here: it reaches full output instantly, and frequent switching does not shorten its life.
Where it goes in a bathroom
A bathroom ceiling is not one uniform zone: the area above the shower tray and the bath counts as a wet zone and needs a fixture rated at least IP44. This product is for the dry zone — the basin run, the area by the door, the general light of the room. Place it outside the shower enclosure, on the centre line of the ceiling, rather than directly above the shower.
How many for a corridor
In a corridor of normal width, one fixture every 2.5 to 3 metres gives an even spread. Lighting a long corridor with a single fixture produces a bright middle and dark ends; two modest fixtures light a corridor better than one powerful one.

Usage & Warnings
Before installation
- Switch off the circuit at the fuse box before wiring. Turning off the wall switch is not enough.
- The fixture connects directly to 220–240V mains. If your installation has no earth conductor, consult a qualified electrician.
- On plasterboard ceilings do not screw straight into the board; use hollow-wall (toggle or spring) anchors.
Use and care
- Wipe the surface with a dry, soft cloth. Abrasive sponges, bleach and alcohol-based cleaners permanently dull the diffuser.
- Cut the power and let the fixture cool before cleaning.
- For indoor use only. Do not install outdoors or anywhere exposed to direct moisture.
LED and driver
- The LED board is soldered in place and cannot be replaced individually like a bulb.
- This range is not dimmable. Wiring it to a dimmer circuit damages the driver and causes flicker.
- If the light flickers or fails, the part that normally needs replacing is the driver, not the LEDs.

Can it be used in a bathroom?
In the dry part of a bathroom — away from the shower tray and bath — yes. The moisture protection of this fixture is not sufficient directly above a shower; there you need a fixture rated IP44 or above.
