Metal Wall Art

102 products

Metal wall art is a decorative wall piece produced by sublimation printing onto an aluminium sheet. It differs from paper posters and canvas prints on two counts: the colour does not fade and moisture does not affect the body. That is why it can also be used in kitchens, bathrooms and cafés — damp rooms or spaces with changing temperature. The surface can be matt or gloss; how it reflects light should be considered together with the room's lighting. Under a direct spotlight, a matt surface stays far more legible. No frame or glass is needed for mounting: the sheet is its own support and hangs straight on the wall using the fixing on its back. Because it is light, a plain wall plug is enough even on plasterboard.

Choosing Metal Wall Art: Size, Colour and Matching the Wall

Metal wall art is the fastest way to change the character of a wall without touching the paint or the furniture. The laser-cut metal surface produces a play of shadow that shifts with the light, so the piece looks different through the day. Our collection holds 102 models.

Choose the Size by the Wall

  • Above a sofa: the composition sits in balance when the piece is roughly two thirds the width of the sofa.
  • Corridors and narrow walls: a vertical arrangement or a pair works better than one large piece.
  • Hanging height: the centre of the piece reaches eye level at about 145–150 cm from the floor.

Colour and Finish

There are three main directions in metal art: black produces a sharp graphic effect on a light wall, gold and copper tones add warmth, and white brings relief on a dark wall. If there is not enough contrast between the wall colour and the piece, the pattern disappears — take the colour of your wall as the starting point.

Think About It Together With the Lighting

The real effect of metal art appears with light. A light that washes the piece from the side throws the shadows of the cut-outs onto the wall and deepens the surface. For that you can use wall lights or an adjustable decorative LED spotlight.

Installation

Metal pieces are light and fix to most wall types with a standard plug. On a plasterboard wall use a toggle fixing; on brick and concrete, a plastic plug in a hole drilled with the right bit is enough. The most practical method is to hold the piece against the wall and check the height by eye before you mark the fixing points.

Budget

All 102 models in the collection have a published price: they range from 11 EUR to 22 EUR, with a median of 11 EUR. That makes this one of the most economical headings for refreshing a space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the piece be used outdoors?

The production and coating are intended for interiors; use on surfaces exposed to constant moisture or direct rain is not recommended.

How is it cleaned?

A dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth is enough; abrasive cleaners wear the coating.

Can I use several pieces together?

Yes. Placing different patterns from the same colour family 5–8 cm apart produces a livelier wall than a single large piece.
