Clip-in Sky Ceiling Panel

Description

60x120 Clip-in LED Gökyüzü Panel is the clip-in framed version of the printed LED backlit panel that creates a genuine sky effect. The panel does not simply rest in the ceiling grid; it clips in and locks with its clip-in frame, and once seated it cannot fall out. Its standard 60 × 120 cm modular size fits a T24-module suspended ceiling opening just like a ceiling tile; no extra demolition, plastering or renovation is required.

Why clip-in? Because the panel is held by its frame, it can be used safely in high-ceilinged spaces, corridors, shop entrances and window displays, and public areas — it will not lift and it will not fall. It is a dry installation: you fit the panel into its opening with the clip-in frame and connect the 220 V supply, which means you or your electrician can install it easily. The only difference from the recessed (T24) model is the mounting method; the sky effect, the LED quality and the dimensions are exactly the same.

Its wide surface delivers a pronounced sky effect even with a single panel; on large office, retail and lobby ceilings you cover a broad area with only a few panels.

The surface of the panel carries a high-resolution sky image produced with UV printing technology. The range runs from a cloudy blue sky to a starry night, and from flower and tree motifs to artwork of your own. Because the printed layer can be replaced, you can give your space a new feel later by changing only the graphic, without dismantling the whole system.

Fitted with Samsung LEDs, the panel provides even, shadow-free light distribution and creates a bright atmosphere that is easy on the eyes. Its high luminous efficacy delivers both strong illumination and low energy consumption, reducing your running costs.

Colour temperature options. The panel is produced in two light colours and you choose one when you place your order. 6500K cool white is the tone closest to the sky on a clear day, giving high clarity and vividness; it brings out the blue of the sky graphic most realistically and is preferred in offices, shops and clinics, where attention and colour accuracy matter. 4000K neutral white is a softer, more balanced tone; it creates a warmer, more restful atmosphere in places where people spend longer periods, such as hotel lobbies, restaurants, waiting rooms, living rooms and corridors.

Where is it used? Offices and meeting rooms, shops and showrooms, clinic, dental and hospital waiting areas, hotel lobbies, restaurants and cafés, and at home on living-room, corridor and children's-room ceilings — it brings the freshness of the open air even to rooms with no windows.

The clip-in frame is the single element that distinguishes this Gökyüzü Panel from the recessed (T24) model, and it is what locks the panel into the grid. If you prefer, the same product can also be specified with recessed (T24), surface-mounted or pendant mounting options.

Usage & Warnings

Electrical Safety

  • Before installation, maintenance or any replacement of parts, switch off the circuit at the fuse box and confirm with a voltage tester that the line is dead.
  • Have the installation and the electrical connections carried out by a qualified electrician. This is required both for your safety and for your warranty to remain valid.
  • Make sure your installation has an earth connection; do not connect to circuits without earthing.
  • Connect the LED driver in accordance with the wiring diagram supplied with the product; place the driver somewhere easily accessible, dry and ventilated, and do not bury it in insulation material.

Installation

  • Check that your mains supply is within the 220–240 V / 50 Hz range.
  • Verify that your suspended ceiling grid can carry the weight of the panel. Standard T-bar systems are generally designed for loads of 5–10 kg/m².
  • Seat the panel fully and squarely on the grid profiles, with no gaps; do not force it in by the corners. Carry the panel by its edges and do not press on the diffuser surface.
  • Do not cover the panel or the driver with glass wool, rock wool or similar insulation material; leave room for air circulation in the ceiling void.
  • The product is intended for dry indoor use (IP20). It must not be used in damp or wet environments such as bathrooms, showers, saunas, open terraces or outdoors.

Use

  • Dimmer compatibility: not every LED panel works with a dimmer. Unless your product is specified as “dimmable”, do not connect it to a dimmer switch. Incompatible use causes flicker, light jumps and driver failure; such faults are not covered by the warranty.
  • Do not switch the lighting on and off frequently at short intervals; unnecessary switching cycles shorten the life of the driver.
  • Prevent heat build-up around the panel; do not block ventilation gaps.
  • Do not look directly at the panel for long periods while it is switched on.
  • If you notice flicker, colour shift, blinking or unusual heating, cut the power and contact us.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Before cleaning, switch off the power and wait for the panel to cool down (approximately 30 minutes).
  • Wipe the diffuser surface with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not use paper towels or abrasive cloths.
  • Do not use solvents, abrasives, or cleaners containing alcohol, ammonia or acetone; they damage the surface coating and cause yellowing and dulling.
  • If necessary, apply the cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the panel. Do not allow liquid to get inside the panel.

Disposal

  • At the end of its service life the product must not be discarded with household waste. Hand it in at your municipal collection point or to an authorised recycling organisation, in line with the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU) or the equivalent regulations in your country.

Situations Not Covered by the Warranty

  • Installation, repair or unauthorised intervention carried out by anyone other than an authorised service.
  • Use outside the manual, connection to an incompatible dimmer, and faults caused by overvoltage or by the electrical supply.
  • Any kind of contact with liquid, and use in damp/wet or excessively hot environments.
  • Impact, dropping, breakage and scratches, and damage caused by natural disasters.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a clip-in sky panel and a lay-in (T24) panel?

The panel, the LED output and the sky print are identical in both; the difference lies in the mounting method. The lay-in model simply rests in the suspended ceiling grid and can be lifted out by hand. The clip-in model, on the other hand, clips and locks into the grid via its clip-in frame; once seated, it cannot lift out or fall.

Can I install the clip-in sky panel myself?

Yes. It is a dry installation, so no demolition, plastering or renovation work is required. You fit the panel into the T24 module opening of the suspended ceiling from below and clip it in place with the clip-in frame, then connect the 220V line to the driver. We recommend having a qualified electrician carry out the electrical connection.

Can the panel shift out of place or fall down?

No. Because the clip-in frame locks the panel into the grid, it will not lift under air flow, door pressure or vibration. This makes it safer than the lay-in model for high ceilings, corridors, store entrances and public areas.

Should I choose 6500K Natural White white or 4000K natural white?

6500K daylight white is the tone closest to the sky on a clear day; it renders the blue of the sky print at its most vivid and is preferred in offices, stores, clinics and other spaces where visual clarity matters. 4000K natural white is softer; it creates a more restful atmosphere in hotel lobbies, restaurants, waiting areas and homes, where people spend longer periods of time.

Will the sky image on the panel fade over time, and can it be changed later?

The print is produced with UV technology and does not fade under normal indoor use. As the print layer is replaceable, you can refresh the image alone at a later date, without dismantling the entire system, and give your space a fresh new look.

What is the warranty period and the service life of the product?

The product carries a 2-year warranty. Its aluminium frame and opal diffuser construction, combined with Samsung LEDs, deliver long-lasting and stable lighting under indoor conditions.

How many watts is the 60x120 clip-in sky panel and how much electricity does it consume?

The panel is rated at 72 W and delivers approximately 7,200 lumens. Thanks to its large surface, even a single panel creates a pronounced level of brightness and a convincing sky effect.

Is the 60x120 panel intended for large areas, and is it mounted vertically or horizontally?

Yes; thanks to its large surface, you can cover a wide area with only a few panels on large office, store and lobby ceilings. The panel can be positioned either vertically or horizontally; in the “Layout & Combination” step you can select the orientation and instantly see the total width × height.
