Description
A corner is the most exposed part of a wall. A corner bead does two jobs at once: it gives the corner a straight, sharp line and it protects that line from impact.
Which type you need follows the finish. PVC mesh beads are bedded into gypsum — they never rust, so they suit wet rooms. Galvanised gypsum beads work under thin plaster, machine-plaster beads under thick applied render, and notched arch beads bend to a radius.

If your plaster layer is thin and the corner is in a narrow space, choose 7x7. On wide surfaces and corners that take a lot of knocks, 10x10 is the safer choice.
