PVC External Corner Profile — 2.70 m
A PVC profile that closes the external corner of tile and cladding. It protects the edge from impact, never rusts and cuts with shears.

Description
A corner is the most exposed part of a wall. A corner bead does two jobs at once: it gives the corner a straight, sharp line and it protects that line from impact.
Which type you need follows the finish. PVC mesh beads are bedded into gypsum — they never rust, so they suit wet rooms. Galvanised gypsum beads work under thin plaster, machine-plaster beads under thick applied render, and notched arch beads bend to a radius.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a mesh corner bead fitted?
Butter the corner with gypsum, press the bead in until the mesh is fully buried, then rule it straight. Mesh left proud of the surface will show through the finish.
PVC or galvanised?
PVC in wet rooms, near external walls and anywhere damp. In dry interiors either works; PVC has the edge for easy cutting.
