Description
A corner is the most exposed part of a wall. A corner bead does two jobs at once: it gives the corner a straight, sharp line and it protects that line from impact.
Which type you need follows the finish. PVC mesh beads are bedded into gypsum — they never rust, so they suit wet rooms. Galvanised gypsum beads work under thin plaster, machine-plaster beads under thick applied render, and notched arch beads bend to a radius.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from a plaster corner bead?
The material thickness: the plaster bead is 0.25 mm, the machine-render bead 0.40 mm. A thin profile does not withstand the pressure of a thick render coat.
