Description
A corner is the most exposed part of a wall. A corner bead does two jobs at once: it gives the corner a straight, sharp line and it protects that line from impact.
Which type you need follows the finish. PVC mesh beads are bedded into gypsum — they never rust, so they suit wet rooms. Galvanised gypsum beads work under thin plaster, machine-plaster beads under thick applied render, and notched arch beads bend to a radius.

How tight a curve can it be bent to?
As the slits in the flange open up, it follows tighter curves. At very small radii the slits can separate; in that case joining short lengths gives a cleaner result.
