This product is recessed into a T24 (60×60) suspended-ceiling grid. It cannot be mounted directly onto a flat concrete ceiling.

Description
Channel-type runners are used where the ceiling surface has to read as one continuous plane — plasterboard and similar closed ceilings. Unlike T24, the grid stays behind the board and is never seen from below.
The logic is the same: main runners are hung on wire, cross members lock into the channel, and the board is screwed to them. Because the grid is hidden, the spacing follows the board's fixing pattern rather than a tile size.

Why is extra support needed at a board joint?
The line where two boards meet is the weakest part of the ceiling. Without a profile beneath it the joint moves, and however well the joint tape is applied, the movement shows through as a crack.
