Description
A T24 suspended ceiling is built from three parts. Main runners are hung from the slab on wire hangers and carry the load; cross tees lock between them to form the tile openings; a wall angle closes the line where the ceiling meets the wall.
The system takes its name from the 24 mm visible width of the profile face. Tiles rest freely in the openings and can be lifted by hand, which makes T24 the easiest system for reaching services above the ceiling.

Frequently Asked Questions
What spacing should the main runners have?
The common practice is 1.20 m; cross tees of 1.20 m fit this spacing exactly. Widening the spacing causes the profile to sag.
Detailed guideHow often are the hangers fixed?
Hangers are usually fixed along the main runner at 90–120 cm intervals. An extra hanger is added wherever a luminaire or a ventilation grille comes.
Detailed guideWhat if 3.60 m is not enough?
Main runners are joined end to end; the snap lock at the profile ends is designed for exactly this. The joint should not fall midway between two hangers.
