Where does a wood chandelier fit?

A wood chandelier brings the warmth of a natural material into your lighting. It suits Scandinavian, rustic and modern minimalist interiors and creates a coherent look with wooden furniture and parquet; it is a popular choice for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and cafés where a warm atmosphere is wanted. 27 of the 28 models in this collection combine a metal frame with wood: the metal gives the body strength, while the wood defines its look.

Widths range from slim 10 cm pendants to wide 145 cm models, and most products list an overall height of 120 cm. A wide model running parallel to a long dining table, or a slim single-light model for a bedside or counter, gives a balanced result. Alongside natural wood, colour options include grey-black, white and green-orange combinations.

Light source and light colour

20 models use an integrated LED source: no bulb is needed and the light colour is fixed in the product table. 8 models have an E27 socket, so you can choose the light colour with the bulb. Models with listed luminous flux range from 1,200 lm to 10,800 lm; if the chandelier will light a large living room on its own, choose a higher value.

Where the light colour is listed, 12 models are 3000K warm white and 3 are 4000K neutral white. 3000K usually matches the warm tone of wood best; 4000K can be chosen for kitchens and work areas that need a brighter, more neutral atmosphere.

Care and installation

Wipe the wooden surface with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth; heavy moisture and direct contact with water can affect the colour and surface of the wood. Switch off the power before cleaning, and have the installation done with the circuit breaker off, ideally by an electrician.
